If you’ve visited the Hoey Moey recently, you may have noticed some stunning new additions! I’m stoked to share that I had the honour of transforming their space with my biggest mural project to date—an 11m x 3m mural capturing the legendary Hoey’s food, music, and beach vibes. This was an incredible opportunity to work on such a large canvas, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out!
The process began early, projecting the concept onto the wall at 4:30am. What started as an intimidating blank space soon became a calming, creative flow. Over four long days, I blocked out the base colours and brought the sketch to life with vibrant details that reflect the energy and culture of Coffs Harbour.
In addition to the mural, there are also fresh feature walls and new merchandise available, showcasing the exciting evolution happening at Hoey Moey. If you’re not local but still want to be part of the crew, you can grab some of their merch from their website!
